Srinagar: Dr. Shahid Amin Trali, an academician, writer, and regular columnist, has been conferred with the Icons of Kashmir – 2026 Award by the Incentive Foster Foundation Kashmir in recognition of his contributions.
The award ceremony was held today at the Akashvani Auditorium, Radio Kashmir Srinagar, where individuals from diverse fields were recognised for their contributions to society.
Dr. Shahid Amin, who is currently engaged with his academic and institutional responsibilities at ITM Gwalior, M.P. was unable to attend the ceremony personally. His elder sister, Rohie Imtyaz, received the award on his behalf.
Hailing from Tral, Kashmir, and expressing his gratitude, Dr. Shahid Amin said that the award is not merely an honour but also a reminder and responsibility to continue working with greater commitment for the development and empowerment of students and youth.
