Pulwama, Press Release: The Khelo India Hockey Center, Tral Bajwani, Pulwama, has achieved a historic milestone with one of its trainees earning selection for the prestigious SGF National Hockey Championship—a first-ever achievement for the Centre.
Sehajpreet Kour from Nahir Tral, a promising young hockey player in the Under-14 category, has been selected to represent Jammu & Kashmir at the SGF National Championship, scheduled to be held in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, from January 2 to January 7, 2026.
An Official at the Khelo India Hockey Center expressed immense pride in this accomplishment, describing it as a defining moment that reflects the Centre’s commitment to nurturing young talent through structured training and consistent mentorship.
The Centre also acknowledged the vital support and encouragement extended by Ms. Nuzhat Gul, Secretary, J&K Sports Council, and Ms. Anisa Nabi, Chief Sports Officer, whose guidance and leadership have played a crucial role in promoting hockey and empowering young athletes across Jammu & Kashmir.
