Tral, May 22: A heavy hailstorm lashed several areas of Tral, including Zaradihar Machama, Panner Jagir and Mandoora, early Friday morning, causing significant damage to orchards and standing crops and leaving growers worried about heavy losses.
Apni Party leader and former DDC member Dr Harbakash Singh expressed concern over the losses suffered by the farming community due to the hailstorm.
He urged the administration to immediately assess the damage in the affected areas and ensure adequate compensation for the affected growers and farmers.
