Lolab: In a significant step towards strengthening parent–school collaboration and enhancing the overall academic environment, the newly appointed Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Lolab, Mr. Ratheesh Kumar, convened a Parent–Teacher Council (PTC) meeting shortly after assuming charge of the prestigious institution.

The meeting marked a new beginning focused on transparency, effective communication, academic excellence, and student welfare. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, teachers, and administrative staff, who actively engaged in detailed discussions regarding academic performance, hostel management, discipline, campus development, and the overall growth of students.

The programme was hosted by Mamta Rani, a dedicated faculty member of JNV Lolab, whose remarkable presentation skills, confidence, and professional coordination added charm and dignity to the event. Her impressive hosting ensured the smooth conduct of the proceedings and kept the gathering connected throughout the programme.

During the interaction, parents shared their valuable suggestions and concerns related to various aspects of school functioning. The school administration assured them of sincere efforts towards addressing genuine issues and creating a more supportive, disciplined, and student-friendly learning atmosphere.

The successful organisation of the PTC meeting was also made possible through the outstanding coordination and commitment of Ghulam Mohammad Lone, Office Superintendent of JNV Lolab. His professionalism, dedication, and effective management played a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of the programme and facilitating meaningful interaction among parents, teachers, and the administration.

In a significant development, Mr. Tareeq Ahmad Lone was unanimously elected as the President of the Parent–Teacher Council of JNV Lolab. The newly elected President expressed his commitment towards working as a bridge between parents and the institution and contributing towards the welfare, academic improvement, and holistic development of students.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. Ratheesh Kumar reaffirmed his vision of providing quality education, strengthening discipline, improving institutional efficiency, and introducing positive reforms for the betterment of the school. He emphasised that collective efforts from parents, teachers, and administration are essential for nurturing students and preparing them for future challenges.

The faculty members of JNV Lolab extended remarkable cooperation and support in making the event a grand success. Their teamwork, dedication, and active involvement reflected the strong spirit of unity and commitment towards educational excellence.

The newly constituted Parent–Teacher Council is expected to serve as an effective platform for continuous dialogue, accountability, and collaborative efforts between parents and the school administration, further strengthening the foundation of the institution.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Umer, Counselling Teacher of JNV Lolab, who expressed gratitude to all parents for their valuable presence and special appreciation to the newly elected PTC team for their willingness to contribute towards the progress of the institution.

The gathering ended with a collective resolve to work together for the academic success, welfare, and bright future of the students of JNV Lolab.
