Bandipora: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) has secured its first victory in the ongoing assembly elections by winning the Gurez (ST) constituency.
JKNC’s candidate, Nazir Ahmad Khan, emerged victorious after defeating his closest competitor, Faqeer Mohammed Khan. Nazir Khan garnered 8,095 votes, while Faqeer Mohammed Khan finished as the runner-up with 7,046 votes.
