Ganderbal: As a part of Public outreach programme, Thana Diwas was observed by Ganderbal Police in all Police Establishments across the District. All SHOs, DOs of respective Police Stations & Police Posts chaired the meeting which was attended by the respectable citizens, youth and general public. In the event, large gathering of public participated and highlighted various issues of public importance.
The participants were assured that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police Department will be resolved immediately.
Moreover, the participants were asked to share the information regarding drug peddling in their areas with district Police and were requested to co-operate in eradicating drug abuse and social crimes from the society.
It was also assured in the thana diwas that the grievances of public pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments to resolve them on priority.
