Awantipora, 05 March: Police Station Awantipora received a written complaint from one person namely Showkat Ahmad Stating therein that he was fraudulently cheated by two persons (name with held) related to duping by Rs 50 lakh.
Accordingly preliminary verification (PV) was initiated & during conduct of PV, it substantiated that the allegations leveled by the applicant are based on facts and the cognizance has been taken by registering Zero FIR U/S 318(4) in view of being the alleged persons hailing from the jurisdiction of Police Station Lasjan Srinagar and the FIR has been forwarded to the concerned Police Station for further necessary action.
