FC Shalbugh Lifts Title as Ganderbal Police Football Tournament Concludes with Grand Finale at Tulmulla

Ganderbal, Aug 29: Under its Civic Action Program, Ganderbal Police successfully concluded a Football Tournament with a spectacular grand finale at Hyderia Sports Ground, Tulmulla. The tournament drew enthusiastic participation from various football clubs across District Ganderbal, creating a vibrant sporting atmosphere.

The initiative aimed at engaging youth in healthy activities, channelizing their energy positively, and promoting discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship. It also served as a platform for budding players to display their skills and passion for football.

The final match, played between Shalbugh FC and FC Batwina, kept spectators on edge before Shalbugh FC emerged victorious with a 3–1 win. Both teams were felicitated with trophies, cash prizes, and certificates of appreciation for their performance.

Senior officers of District Police Ganderbal, along with respected citizens, sports lovers, and a large gathering of locals, witnessed the thrilling finale. Speaking on the occasion, police officers stressed that such events under the Civic Action Program are part of sustained efforts to strengthen police-public relations and engage youth in constructive pursuits.

The locals and participants warmly appreciated the initiative of Ganderbal Police and expressed hope that more such sporting events will continue in the future.
