Awantipora, 11 Oct 2025 : The Educational Zone Awantipora successfully organized the Zonal Level Folk Dance and Role Play Competition today at Govt. Primary School Larkipoora B. The event was a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity, and learning, drawing enthusiastic participation from schools across the zone.
The competition saw a huge number of schools participating with great zeal and enthusiasm, mesmerizing the audience with their captivating performances. A team of distinguished dignitaries from DIET Pampore, including Ms. Tasleema Jan, Ms. Roshan Ara, and Ms. Rifat Jan, graced the occasion, adding immense value and prestige to the event.
The jury panel, comprising Mr. Mir Mushtaq, Mr. Ashaq Hassan Khanday, and Ms. Shakeela Nazir, assessed the performances and declared Govt. GHS Noorpora as the Best Performing Team in Role Play and Govt. UPS Jawbrara as the Best Performing Team in Folk Dance. Both teams have qualified to represent Zone Awantipora in the forthcoming District Level Competition.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contribution of guests, jury members, escort teachers, and participants. The zone congratulates the winning teams and wishes them the best of luck for the district-level competition.
