Kulgam, November 02, 2026: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam, chaired a security and crime review meeting at District Police Office (DPO) Kulgam to assess the prevailing security scenario and review the overall crime situation across the district.
During the meeting, SSP Kulgam took a detailed review of, security arrangements, crime investigation, pending cases, and the progress achieved in ongoing investigations. He stressed the need for enhanced vigilance, effective intelligence gathering, intensified patrolling and strengthened area domination to ensure a peaceful and secure environment.
While reviewing crime-related matters, SSP Kulgam directed officers to ensure timely and professional investigation, expedite the disposal of pending cases and take stringent action against drug trafficking, illegal activities and other criminal elements.
He emphasised accountability, coordination and public-friendly policing, directing all officers to remain proactive and ensure effective policing at the grassroots level.
The meeting was attended by senior police officers and supervisory officers of District Police Kulgam.
