JKTF Pulwama Extends Warm Welcome to Newly Appointed Chief Education Officer

Pulwama: The Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Forum, District Pulwama, formally welcomed Mr. Shabir Ahmad Khan as the newly appointed Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Pulwama. The cordial meeting took place under the leadership of District President, Mr. Javid Jameel, with the guidance of Forum Chairman, Mr. Showket Ali Beigh.

The engagement, held with great enthusiasm, included key officials such as Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Khan, District Education Planning Officer (DEPO), and senior trade unionist Mr. Bashir Ahmad Thoker. Mr. Mohd Ashraf Khan, Press & Publicity Secretary of the Forum, also attended, highlighting the delegation’s mission and dedication to the improvement of the district’s education system.

The purpose of the gathering was to extend a heartfelt welcome to Mr. Khan in his new role and discuss the continued development of education in the region. Mr. Ashraf Khan kicked off the session with an insightful introduction, emphasizing the Teachers Forum’s unwavering commitment to advancing education in Pulwama.

District President, Mr. Javid Jameel, outlined the Forum’s core mission and its tireless work in safeguarding the rights of educators, advocating for improved educational policies, and promoting a progressive learning environment. He stressed the importance of collaboration between educators and administration to address critical issues in the education sector.

During the meeting, Mr. Bashir Ahmad Thoker presented several concerns including the need for student-centric reforms, infrastructural improvements, and the welfare of faculty members. He called for a unified approach among all stakeholders to ensure high-quality education and a well-rounded development for students across the district.

Responding to these concerns, CEO Mr. Shabir Ahmad Khan and DEPO Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Khan expressed their appreciation for the Teachers Forum’s dedication and assured that all recommendations and concerns would be carefully reviewed. They reiterated their commitment to maintaining high standards of educational governance and pledged to foster an open, constructive dialogue with the Teachers Forum to improve Pulwama’s educational landscape.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties agreeing to maintain a transparent and proactive communication channel, ensuring continued growth and excellence in education throughout the district.

The meeting was also attended by several zonal presidents, including Mr. Bashir Ahmad Wani (Zonal President, Lurgam), Mr. Haji Irshad (Zonal President, Tral), and representatives from various other zones within Pulwama (Press Release).
